Until We See His Face | Genesis 46:1-30
When the brothers brought news of Joseph’s survival and prosperity in Egypt, Jacob went to be reunited with his son. On the way down Israel worshipped the God of his father at Beersheba, and God removed his fears by encouraging him to go to Egypt with the Lord’s presence and the promise that He would make of Israel a great nation and bring him back to the Promise Land to fulfill His promises. In this study we learn that until we see Christ’s face believers are to seek and trust in His guidance, knowing that the path that promotes His glory is often one of difficulty.
