Lessons from the Persecuted Church | 2 Corinthians 1:3-11

What can we learn from the Persecuted Church? Paul opened his second letter to the Corinthians (a non-persecuted church) by sharing of the afflictions he suffered in Asia. As the body of Christ, we all share in one another’s sufferings, so that we may also share in one another’s comfort. Stories from the persecuted church encourage and help us as we face trials in our own lives. We can learn from the Persecuted how to rely on God, how to forgive, how to live ready, and most importantly – the power and importance of prayer.
