From time to time we send a prompt to those with an account on the church platform to check that the details we have there are up to date. You may have moved, had family changes, changed phone number – whatever it may be. Now is that time!
Our church platform (Elvanto) helps you:
- keep up-to-date on our upcoming events, courses and services
- connect with other members through our church directory and life groups
- find volunteer opportunities to serve and define your availability
- inform you of your service rosters
- inform you of the Church’s Constitution and Vision (under the “Links” tab)
- update and manage your own account profile (ie. address, phone, photo etc.) and your privacy settings
If you already have an account, please click here to review and update your profile. If you don’t have one already, we would love for you to include a profile photo (for adults) or family/group photo (for <18 years). You can choose if your profile is visible or hidden on the church directory. Having your profile details up to date will not automatically make these details visible to others. Your up to date information allows us to better serve the needs of the church, so please take a few minutes to review and update your records. If you’ve forgotten your password, use the ‘forgot password?‘ link to reset it.

Need a walk-through? Here are the main steps:
Step 1: Click here to access your profile page.
Step 2: Fill in the details within the fields – Check that your core information is correct on your main profile, including your name, phone, email, address, broad age and whatever you’d like to include.
Step 3: Add a photo – click on the ‘Upload Profile Photo’ option to replace or upload your photo. This is not compulsory, but it helps!
Step 4: Select ‘Privacy Settings’ from the menu and click ‘Hills Bible Church Directory’. If you would like your profile to be visible to others at Hills Bible Church and available in the online Church Directory, click ‘Show my profile’. You can then select or deselect which parts of your profile information you would like visible in the directory.
Step 5: Do you have a family that attends Hills? Select ‘Family’ from the menu to ensure that you are all linked properly. Please note, this is by ‘household’ – so if you are living separately from each other, then please ensure that your individual addresses are up to date and that you are not linked as ‘family’ in this platform. If your family members are not linked to you, you can link them in this section (email Matt for any assistance here).
Step 6: Familiarise yourself with the platform, if you haven’t been through it much before, by browsing the tabs within the menu. Depending on your role within the church, your menu may look different to the below. Volunteers, group leaders, and others will have slightly different interfaces however all users will have the same basic functionality. If you do not see the following menu at the top of the page, email Matt and he will assist.
Whilst any platform may feel tricky to navigate at first, once you get it working for you rather than you working for it, you’ll find it enjoyable. And if you have any questions, feel free to ask Matt or any of the ministry leaders who may be more familiar with it.
