What is the church? There are many important issues to deal with as Christians living in our world today, and some may consider this question to be toward the bottom of the list. While many feel that the “church” is outdated and out of touch with today’s progressive society, and has very little relevance to the issues of the world, the Bible paints a very different picture. In this six-part series we will explore various New Testament passages to understand the nature, origin, and importance of the church, and where we fit into her. Whatever our presuppositions may be, we will discover the vital relevance the church has to God’s redemptive plan as she engages our modern society.
