The Disciple’s Battle Plan (Part 2) | Jude 22-23

In part 2 of “The Disciple’s Battle” plan Jude gives specific commands to pursue those who wander from the faith. To do this he uses language from Zechariah’s prophecy to show that those who have received God’s mercy and wait for God’s mercy must contend for the faith by showing God’s mercy to others. Jude looks at three groups of wanderers who we are called to show mercy to:

1. Show mercy toward the doubter (v. 22)
2. Show mercy toward the wanderer (v. 23a)
3. Show mercy toward the apostate (v. 23b)
