Meekness Part 2: Having the Humility to Help Others | Philippians 2:1-8

In Philippians 2:1–8, the apostle Paul instructs Christians to have the same mindset that Christ had in His earthly life and death (2:2, 5). A local church has unity by each person setting their minds on the example of Christ (1:27; c.f. 2:2). Christ shows us that Christians should humbly serve others (2:6–8). We serve others because Christ has served us. Whatever someone’s need is in our church we ought to come alongside them, listen to them, read God’s word with them, and pray with them.

3. Set our Minds on Serving Others (vv 4,8b)

• Application 1: Serving those who are experiencing weakness
