Living the Good Life Together | 1 Peter 3:8-12

Peter’s strategy for Christian living is simple and uncomplicated though not easy whether the believer is in the workplace, home or church gathering. There is the need to demonstrate genuine repentance in turning from sin and embracing a good life marked by Christ-like compassion and love. Such behaviour promises blessings from God both in the present and the future. In this study we learn that the truly blessed life is found, not only in our restraint from evil, but by actively adopting Christ-like qualities in our relationships with others.

 

1) Humbly love others (v. 8)

2) Bless those who bruise you (v. 9)

3) Persist in Godly living (vv. 10-11)

4) Be rightly motivated (v. 12)
