Is Baptism really that important?
Over the last 2,000 years of Christianity various forms and understandings of baptism according to Scripture have developed. These consist of viewing baptism as necessary for salvation, unnecessary or even viewing it as a redundant command to follow. In this study from Scripture we learn that believers in Christ should be publicly baptised by immersion as an obedient expression of faith and affirmation of their unity with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection.
