In what is known as the sermon that launched the church, Peter stands before thousands of people and boldly calls them to accept God’s appointed redeemer and king. The result was that 3,000 souls were saved and added to the church. Peter speaks of the prophesied, witnessed facts of Jesus’ miraculous life, death, resurrection and exaltation, and calls all people to repent and believe. In his sermon, Peter provide three crucial facts we must understand with one conclusion we must heed:
