Growing Up | Ephesians 4:13-16
Previous to our current passage Paul has outlined the unity Christians have in Christ as His body. However, this unity is expressed through a diversity of gifts Christ has given to each believer for the building up of the body of Christ toward the goal of spiritual maturity, both individually and corporately. Failure to serve Christ is the capacity He has gifted His church and build each other up in truth, love and good works, will leave the church vulnerable to false doctrine and deceitful schemes. In this message we learn that believers are called to live and work together in love and so grow up to maturity into the fullness of Christ, being no longer children easily deceived.
