Apologetics: Reasons for Belief

Apologetics: Reasons for Belief

In an increasingly pluralistic society, followers of Christ need to be equipped to be able to explain why they have the hope that they have, with gentleness and respect. One of those ways is through the use of ‘apologetics’, taken from the Greek word ‘apologia’, which means to ‘make a defence’. In this class guest speaker Dr Gary Baxter will discuss the most pertinent and most attacked issues facing the Christian world-view today. He will discuss such topics as archaeological and scientific evidence for creation, Noah’s flood, and the resurrection of Christ. He will also show us how we got the modern Bible and why it can be trusted. This series is for everyone and will help you build your faith on strong evidence while being better equipped to defend it.
