Simon first discerned a call to ministry when he was in his final years of High School. His heart for mission and passion for aviation led him to do a Certificate IV in Ministries, and a Bachelor of Aviation, before joining Mission Aviation Fellowship as a pilot in 2017. He served in Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, flying to isolated Aboriginal communities in one of the most remote corners of Australia.
Simon returned to Melbourne in mid-2020 with a desire to continue gospel work in a different capacity, to use his skills and gifts more effectively for the Lord. To be further equipped for ministry, he began studying a Masters of Divinity at Presbyterian Theological College and is now in his final year, whilst commencing his new role at Hills Bible Church as Pastoral Assistant of Administration, Communications and Missions in February 2025.
