Sunday School & Youth Ministry

Sunday School
10:00 to 10:45 AM

At 10 AM on Sundays, we cater for children in Sunday School during most of the year (except for School Holidays and for special services).

The Sunday School ministry at Hills Bible Church (HBC) exists to both serve parents and children. This will be accomplished by coming alongside parents by instructing children the Word of God in an atmosphere of singing, activities and teaching.

The children are welcomed into a safe and caring environment where they are taught the Word of God.

Please note: A Sunday School Enrolment is required annually for all children prior to participation.

Youth Ministry

Our Youth Group ministry bridges the gap between Sunday School and university by providing young people in Grades 7-12 with Biblical teaching and regular fellowship with their peers. Our aim, with the Holy Spirit’s help, is to see young people serve Jesus Christ, grow in their knowledge of the Bible, know it to be true, and confidently live by it for God’s glory. Short devotionals, group discussions, regular prayer, games and social events support this broader goal by:

  1. Equipping young people with a Biblical mindset and worldview through Bible study;
  2. Using Biblical truth to discuss, understand and respond to specific topics or questions of interest to young people;
  3. Fostering godly relationships between peers, including between younger and older youth group members.

Youth Group meetings occur every other Friday 7-9pm during school term and are open to any young person in Years 7-12 who wants to attend; it is not necessary to regularly attend Hills Bible Church to participate.

Please note: A Youth Group Enrolment is required to be completed annually for all children under the age of 18 prior to participation.
