Work for Christ | Ephesians 6:5-9
We often separate the sacred from the secular, Sunday from the rest. However, in God’s economy, the “whole world is full of his glory” (Is 6:3) and our work is one of those places where His glory shines. In this study Paul provides specific commands for both the slave (employee) and the master (employer) to act in all respects as people who are firstly slaves to Christ. This understanding should have a profound effect on the way we work and the impact of the gospel in our secular vocations. In this message we learn that our relationship to Christ as Lord should radically change our relationship to our work and wages.
- Our relationship to Christ as Lord should radically change us
- Our relationship to Christ as Lord should radically change our relationship to our work
- Our relationship to Christ as Lord should radically change our relationship to our wages
