Since the church is constantly under attack, from forces inside and outside, every genuine believer should persevere in their devotion to Christ and defend their faith in a spirit of love and mercy. In this message Jude provides three things necessary to guard and grow our Christian faith:
(1) Remember opposition in the church is predicted (vv. 17-19)
(2) Remain spiritually healthy (vv. 20-21)
(3) Rescue the wandering (vv. 22-23)
