Christ’s Unshakable Kingdom | Haggai 2:20-23

In this fourth and final message from Haggai, Zerubbabel receives a very personal encouragement from the Lord, with the news that a day is coming when God’s Messianic King will overthrow the kingdoms of the world and establish His reign forever – and Zerubbabel will be used as a type of Christ to prepare the way for this Messiah. Standing behind this wonderful prophecy is the Lord of hosts who can and will achieve what He has determined for His people and for His glory. In this message four faith building truths are presented:

1. 1. God’s plans will be done (vv. 21-23)
   2. God’s power will prevail (vv. 21-22)
   3. God’s servant will reign (v. 23)
   4. God’s timing is not ours (v. 21-23)
